SECURITY AWARENESS TRAINING
Target Group : All staff apart from security department. This training is for the staff who is not directly bound up with Civil Aviation Security and has also Access for security resticted areas e.g. staff of ground handling company airway, airway station, catering, cleaning company and etc.
Training Objective : The main objective of the training/is ensuring staff, who work at airport (no matter in or out) work under different departments, to understand the significance of civil aviation security and make them contribute to the protection of llegal action against civil aviation. Also the training is provided periodically in order to make update knowledge about security.
BASIC CIVIL AVSEC TRAINING
Target Group : Airport security staff. (Aviation security staff who takes part at controlling of security restricted areas, perimeter security, patrol, vehicle eximanation, surveillance (guard/CCTV) apart from staff who works for carry bag and baggage screening.)
Training Objective : Main objective of the training is to ensure the related staff to implement preventive measurements illegal actions against civil aviation. Course takes at least three days. 80% compulsory attendance is important for initial and refresher training.
SECURITY CONTROL POINT IMPLEMENTATIONS TRAINING
Target Group : Screening operators for passenger, staff, cabin baggage, hold baggage, airline mail and equipments, inflight supplies and airport equipments. Security screening staff takes part for passenger screening.
Training Objective : To specialize staff for screening methods included hand search, to ensure them have knowledge about devices used at security checkpoints, conventional X-ray devices and to make X-ray operators identify suspicious banned substances of the suspect and take appropriate measures.
BASIC CARGO SECURITY TRAINING
Target Group : Apart from employee assigned by authorised cargo/mail institutions and organizations responsible for air cargo screening, all drivers and staff including staff responsible for security controlling implementations.
Training Objective : To make staff understand the importance of aviation security and aviation standards on a level to protect against illegal acts and provide protection to apply preventive security measures.
CARGO SCREENING TRAINING
Target Group : Air cargo scanners. (Staff is responsible for screening air cargo with X-ray device.)
Training Objective : To make staff speciliaze for cargo and mail screening methods included hand search, to make X-ray operators have general info about conventional X-ray devices, ETD and metal detectors to make X-ray operators identify suspicious prohibited substances of the suspect and take appropriate measures.
AIRCRAFT PRIVATE SECURITY SERVICE and INSPECTION TRAINING
Target Group : This training is provided only by general directorate or authorized institution.
Training Objective : To make security staff understand the basic principles of civil aviation security measures, and take appropriate measures.
